Get to know 23-year-old model, musician, and aspiring actress Chatejah George from Atlanta, GA. She started her dreams of an entertainment career as a teenager. What she noticed growing up there was a lack of spaces for other creatives to use for making their films, music videos and YouTube content. That’s where the idea for C&C Movie Film Studio all began.

Where are you from and how was life growing up? I am from Riverdale, GA. I grew up in a very fortunate life. I’ve been in private school, homeschool and public school. I grew up watching my mother be a boss. She owned several hair salons and clothing lines. I’ve watched her manage salons and several businesses to provide me with a very fortunate life.

How did the business idea come to be? I wanted to open a film studio because I couldn’t find a studio with standing sets. I had a dream about opening up a film studio. 

What entrepreneur inspired you the most? My mother has inspired me the most. She’s taught me everything about running a business. I’ve watched her grow a business from the ground up. It was very inspiring to watch a single mother of 2 run several businesses. She became a millionaire when I was 11 years old.

What kind of support do you get from your home town/state? My city supports me alot. I was blessed to have a zoom call with the delegation and elected officials. The city fully supports me in whatever I need.

If you didn’t start your own business, what would you be doing right now? I’m sure I would be somewhere with a business. I’ve never had a job. I’ve always made income from owning a business. 

What really makes you stand out and different from other business owners? I am the youngest studio owner with standing sets. There aren’t that many female business owners in the filming industry. 

Tell us your craziest life story: I’ve pretty much lost all of my friends. They say it’s lonely at the top but my circle is very tight.

What’s your biggest goal for 2022? My goal is to get a deal for my production. I love to produce films. I would love to get my films on major streaming networks.

What advice would you give to aspiring entrepreneurs? Never give up.
