Where are you from and how was life growing up? I’m from the Southside of Richmond and it was typical life in the hood, bad times with enough good times in between to make it all worth it
How did the artist’s name come to be? Skeet was a childhood nickname the hood gave me
Where does the inspiration come from for creating music? My inspiration comes from the guy’s I grew up with, like BIGGIETOM, Wigg, and the co-op.
What artists inspired you the most and who do you currently listen to? Again my inspiration comes from the guys in my city, but I listen to future, lil baby, dolph, dark, Gucci etc.
What kind of support do you get from your hometown/state? My town has been supportive, but my city is also full of artist that are all hungry! There’s a competitive spirit here and sometimes that’s good and sometimes it’s challenging, but it’s the game so I embrace it.
If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing right now?
What really makes you stand out and different from other artists? I’m not gonna say that I’m too different from other artists, we all are creatives, but my tendency is too go left of the norm, do the edgy stuff.
Tell us your craziest life story: I wish I could talk about my craziest life story but I’m not sure the statute of limitations is up so I’m gonna pass on that one 😂

What’s your biggest goal in the music industry? My goal is to open the door for Richmond Virginia Artist, to be able to put my people on.
If you could collaborate with one single artist who would it be and why? I like the music Rick Ross makes so I would like a collab with him.. I got a lil age on me so I like the mature street luxury music Ross makes.
Favorite Artists of all time and why? I have two favorites, Ross and future. Ross cause his music appeals to both the older and young crowd and represents coming up out the struggle, and future cause he has that versatility, that rockstar/dope boy vibe and I think my music is a mixture of all of the above.
What advice would you give to inspiring music artists? my advice to aspiring artist would be to be authentic, to not follow the trend but create new trends, and to learn every aspect of the music business so you understand the why’s, the what’s, and to be able to track your money.
